Allianz Global Investors
The AfricaGrow fund, managed by Allianz Global Investors, provides financial resources for African SME growth and venture capital funds with a volume of EUR 200 million. The regional focus is on partner countries of the Compact with Africa (“CwA”). The fund of funds is equipped with a Technical Assistance (“TA”) Facility in the amount of EUR 15 million. The goal is to invest in 14 to 18 funds, whereby 10% can go into co-investments.
DEG Impact acts as exclusive advisor to the AfricaGrow Fund or Allianz Global Investors and the associated TA Facility.
